Ayesha is a truly beautiful lady, inside and out. She was a joy and inspiration to work for.
She has a story to tell that will inspire and motivate people and such a deep and obvious passion for what she does, it’s truly infectious.
The scope of the project was quite small. Ayesha wanted a website that introduced her business and services and told her story. She wanted it as a sort of online place holder and a point of reference for her business and I think we nailed it.
There’s a plan lurking in the distances for a blog which will really help boost the sites SEO but from everything I’ve witnessed she’s swamped with clients who love her and it’s no wonder!

The main challenge of this website was to keep separate the three distinct areas of Carol’s business. They all fall under the exercise umbrella but with different distinct groups of clients. We created a landing page that clearly directed visitors to their specific areas of interest, each of which had its’ own effective home page.
The other challenge to this project wasn’t so much technical, but rather strategic. I admire Carol, she is hugely passionate about her chosen career and is totally immersed in further training and a fountain of potential ideas with which she can support her clients. This enthusiasm came with a scattergun brief but we got on and it was clear this wouldn’t be a problem.
We took time to focus on what she wanted her business and website to do which then allowed me to build something that was future-proof and could evolve as her plans do.
My experience as a small business owner taking on multiple roles meant that I was able to work through this process with her from a small business perspective, to help get clarity. For me a website is very much a tool, almost another employee in your company so it’s vital that it’s employed in the right way to pull its weight and ease the load on you.
Handover of this project, as with all projects means Carol can make any necessary updates to content, but in this instance, I’ll be looking after future design and structure changes. Post Covid there are plans afoot to implement online booking systems but life is currently too unpredicatable.
“When you log onto Harriet’s website, these are some of the first words you will read…“Crippled with doubt or overwhelmed and don’t know where to begin? Hate techno speak gibberish that may as well be a foreign language? Struggling to find the time to just get the whole thing done?”
Oh yes, this is totally me! I’m also that old school, I convinced myself that I didn’t need a website. I mean, my business is so specialised and a lot of my clients are not a fan of the internet and social media. Therefore, word of mouth should be plenty enough, right? Well okay, to a degree, some of this is true and this is how you build a good reputation. Yet, how do you grow and develop the business further, in order to help more people with movement issues if you can’t be found?
Following my first conversation with Harriet I didn’t feel so overwhelmed and you then realise she is so much more then what she tells you. Obviously her professionalism, knowledge and experience count for a big part of her business but there are other key qualities that Harriet brings to the table; Warm and friendly personality, patience, understanding, accommodating, listening and tuning into her client and meeting her client’s needs. I have needed spoon feeding throughout this whole process and I’ve felt very well and truly looked after, without feeling under pressure.
Harriet is also educating me on how I can build on the foundations of what she has created for me as my business evolves and is there to support and guide me as and when required.
Not only am I delighted with the fresh and professional look of my website, knowing that changes can be made at any time, I’m also super pleased with the exceptional service I have received and would not hesitate in highly recommending this lovely lady’s expertise.”
