Hello, I’m Harriet Head…
Website Designer, Small Business Owner, Award Winning Milliner & Bridal Accessories Designer, and Corporate Escapee.
It’s a random resume, but it comes an unusually versatile perspective.
“So why is she the right person to help me?” you ask. I don’t blame you.
Well, I’m an experienced, self employed small business owner (20 years +), corporate escapee (14 years in process, IT business systems plus 5 years retail & merchandising), business graduate, creative, wife & mother of 2 (a teen & young adult). I understand the work life juggle, toddlers, teens and menopause, etc.
An innately strong intuition, contrasting creative, problem solving and logic skills, sit alongside an acquired understanding of design, copywriting and SEO (amongst other things). Collectively these position me to serve my clients in a rounded way.
I’ve taken all of the knowledge, skills and character traits, and use them to create websites that compel, connect and resonate.
I had my first 2 sites built for me over 15 years ago, which in itself proved a valuable learning curve I discovered what worked for me as a client and what I’d change.
I’ve been building sites myself for over 10 years, I never did make a note in the diary of exactly when it started.
I’m a WEBSITE DESIGNER who gets “it”. This is exactly why I CAN help!

I love my small business but often crave a fresh pair of eyes to help me see the wood for the trees or simply explain things…
It isn’t easy to get that candid (& constructive) feedback, advice or great straightforward training that you need.
Friends and family can mean well but just aren’t objective, they tend to tell you you’re fabulous (or not). People who support you often just don’t get what you’re trying to achieve.
Perhaps you’re in a great business group on Facebook but when you reach out for help there are so many different opinions that you’re even more confused.

Nosy and still wanting to know a bit more?
– Know how to strip down and repair a boiler (knowledge from a past job) & carry out basic electrical work (fitting ceiling lights etc)
– Francophile. Lover of the food, wine, country, particularly Provence (I speak passable French)
– Enjoyer of all things theatre, cinema and live music. I spent years immersed in dance until the knees gave way and put a stop to that dream
– Day dreamer but still have my feet on the ground, I’ve always been a contradiction (A Pisces trait, but in truth I’m not one for horoscope stuff)
– Equally at home in basic tent (the body aches a little more nowadays) or in a luxury hotel (Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons the best so far).
