Harriet…..
I met Sue through a business group and wanted to help her (and she wanted my help too). I hate it when I see small businesses that have been sold the dream but delivered a nightmare and this is the situation Sue found herself in.
We thought we may have been able to do a makeover but things weren’t as they appeared of as she’d been advised so we made a clean sweep and started fresh, it sort of felt good to be getting rid of her headache. I’ve digressed.
Sue makes simply beautiful luxury wedding cakes and lots of other gorgeous cakes and treats too. We needed beautifully clear simple galleries for potential clients to browse, coupled with clear concise and accessible information for potential clients to access.
The transformation from her old site to new is huge, I love seeing when frustration or website shame is replaced with pride.
Sue will undoubtably triumph in this venture, she’s a hugely talented (I sometimes think she underestimates just how), enthusiastic lady with a wish to succeed.
She’s been a pleasure to work with and I wish her all the best. I’m still there for her for any major changes but she now has the access she needs to tweak details when she wants, too.

Having had a very bad experience with a Web Design Company last year, which left me over £2,000 poorer and a website that I was too ashamed for anyone to look at. I have to admit I was feeling very apprehensive when I first connected with Harriet, however I needed help and I had to try and trust someone.
It was initially agreed that Harriet would try and sort out the mess by salvaging what we could from the original site, but the company had left me with too many restrictions, which meant, to get what I wanted, we needed to start again from scratch.
I had very precise ideas about how I wanted my website to look. Harriet listened to all my ‘wants’, making suggestions of what would work better and what she could also add to enhance the site further – in looks and workability / visibility. The result was the most beautiful looking, and perfectly functioning website – way above my wildest expectations.
I am the first to admit that I am a very fussy client (but being in a designing business, my site had to reflect this to draw in my ideal client). Harriet has spent years in this environment so completely understood this concern. I can’t begin to tell you how happy I was when I say the final result.
The site is still very much a ongoing project… I have since decided to move my business more towards the wedding side of things, so plenty of changes will happen, but, Harriet has already reassured me that she is there if I need her.
