Harriet…..

Anupa has had her site for a number of years. It was built for her and she’d had access to make updates and additions as time passed. Over time the ongoing additions had created an over complicated and slightly unwieldy and confusing structure which no longer fairly represented Anupa’s growing business and professional services. This isn’t a criticism of Anupa, it was the reason she came to me, initially for a website user review and then to carry out the work.

All too often we are too close to our businesses and loose the ability to stand back and recognise that out clients aren’t finding it easy to grasp what it is we want them to know, see and do. A fresh pair of eyes always helps us see things afresh (I’m no exception and seek feedback myself).

Anupa wished to retain her old site template and wasn’t in the market (nor did she need to be) for a full website. Working within the confines of her old template I worked to give the site a refreshed, less cluttered and sleeker look. I combined pages that interlinked and duplicated information to make it easier for clients to navigate and added drop down menus to reduce 3 lines of menu content to 1.

I worked with Anupa’s existing branding, increased the use of her colours through the site, incorporated her new professional images and added a watermark as requested to her Reiki Healing ones.

Anupa was an absolute pleasure to work with, a truly lovely lady and I can see why her clients love her. I’m sure we’ll work together again in the not too distant future as she has further plans afoot to focus on her corporate services.
